  1. Just beautiful... I'd have to hire a FLEET of gardeners to keep them alive and well! But it might be worth it!

  8. John:
Do you have any idea how many people have visited the flower show and then posted their images onto their garden blog sites?
Too Many! [180 garden blogs are in my Google Reader!]
Do you know how many of these visitors posted really beautiful pictures of plants and flowers?
    None!
That is, none other than you. Until you posted your photos, I couldn't understand why anyone would even want to attend the show. Now I get it. The PFS should thank you for the most favorable publicity posted online.

  9. I see a hint of the tropicals in that window box but nothing as to the extent of the Chicago show. I think it is a bit more realistic to think that tropicals may be a sub category but not major at this point.

  18. Texwis - the flowers were almost too much, had bloom withdrawl for a few days after the show.

Alison - I was immediately drawn to the celosia and didn't know what it was until I read the label.

Darla - you are right, I will never run out of room, EVER.

Kate - I wish I captured more of the window boxes, they were incredibly detailed and different.

Susan - it was a great show and will definitely be back next year.

Rob - thanks for the kind words and stopping by.

Patsi - I do still have some left over photos and will look to post more this week.

Allen - thank you for the compliments! The theme of the show honestly escaped me, I just followed the plants and ignored everything else.

Gatsby - there were quite a few tropicals but I didn't capture many of them.

Masha - yes, those are rows of cut roses, it was even more impressive in person.

Joey - the shrubs caught my eye as well and there was a huge boxwood display I got lost in for a few minutes.

Dawn - thank you for visiting and the kind words!

Idiot - I myself try to not fall too hard for the flower thing but even some times I get sucked in, rather easily I must admit.

Shirley - always a pleasure to share.

Lia - impossible to pick the best, it was almost too much at times.

Melissa - the smell was intoxicating and allowed me to escape for a few hours.

Paula - thank you for reading and stopping by, you'll be a gardener soon ... guarantee!

    Southcoast - thanks for reading.
