A PSA for you today.

PSA being a “Public Service Announcement”, or maybe a better description is “Please See what Anna has done yet again”.

Anna Looper, author of flowergardengirl.com and the creator of Best Garden Blogs, and Guinness Book record holder for least amount of sleep over the course of a six month period, has just put the finishing touches on Toil the Soil, a new online garden magazine.

The premier issue is free and can be accessed here. Yours truly has contributed to this issue and you can find my entry here. The truth is, and this is not a bit of false modesty, the contributions to this magazine blow mine away and I encourage you to check them all out. I am just thrilled to be in such great company and thrilled to be part of something so damn impressive.
Enjoy.

Hi, ONG: thanks for visiting my blog and leaving the nice comments! Thought to hop over to pay a visit to you during my lunch hour at work. I have read a couple of your recent posts of yours, and loved them all! No, there is nothing wrong with a guy to love flowers and gardening, indeed, I have some guy friends at work who also love gardening, and we share plants often. That was fun! I saw you just had your one year annivarsary of the blogging, and I also just had it last month. Gardening and blogging have become a passion for me over the year, and I only wish I can have more time outside of my full time job and two young kids 🙂

    Happy Gardening!

I enjoyed your article on peonies. If you don’t yet have any, save up for some Itoh varieties like Bartzella or Kopper Kettle. They’re PHENOMENAL!!! I know they’re expensive, but they’re worth it.

Looks like some good read to pass away the last of the winter blues! Thanks for your comment on my blog, also. 🙂

    Hi John!
Thanks for visiting my blog. I just read your entry about peony and I agree with you. Peony are the stars in the spring border. I can’t get enough of them in my garden, it’s an obsession :o).
Take care and greetings from Switzerland

Ami – welcome, happy to have you here and look forward to following your blog as well. By the way, right there with you on the two kids and full time job – gets in the damn way of gardening.

Noel – you’re right, the post on guys liking flowers is probably only being read by guys who already like flowers.

Plant geek – I will absolutely check those out, thanks!

One, Birdwoman, Shirley, Darla – thank you so much for checking it out!

Hanni – getting rod of the winter blues is my number one goal right now

Alex – awesome to have someone over from Switzerland! Will definitely be keeping up with your blog also.

I love how you talk about me. I’m not even blushing—I’m just basking in it. I do work hard but it’s the contributions like yours that make it so grand. I’m just getting ready to highlight your article at Toil the Soil. I’m so thankful to have you as a fan.
    Big hugs, Anna at BestGardenBlogs.com
