I am thankful for all of the deer that have made me a better gardener

I am thankful for my wife who makes me laugh, pushes me to dream and has more integrity than anyone I know

I am thankful for indestructible gardening gloves

I am thankful for a compassionate son who loves to write

I am thankful for 2.25 acres that has been my muse for 12 years running

I am thankful for my daughter and her unabashed enthusiasm and creativity

I am thankful for the health of my circle

I am thankful to have discovered Gary Vaynerchuk and James Altucher and Seth Godin

I am thankful for the written word and how it has dramatically changed my life

My daughter was a huge fan of Gary’s back in the early days of his career when she had her own boutique event planning endeavor out in San Francisco . He provided free wine for a couple of her events and also provided his huge personality. I remember her enthusing about him and how fun he was to talk to. Not that it really matters, but if I knew how to embed a picture, I’d show you the two of them
    hobnobbing from 2007.
And, not to get corny, but I’m thankful for your written words myself. You provide smiles and info and a nice serving of humanity.

Thanks as always Michaele! Would love to see the pic if you have it. I am taken by Gary’s personality, the fact that he is from NJ and he is such a practitioner in what he preaches. Just completely legit and I’m buying it all.

So relevant! Thanks for a reality check on such an important date in our country’s history. I hope you and those you love enjoy good health, attitudes and many fantastic family moments. btw, great mentioning Gary, Seth and James…perhaps some of the best disciples sharing their knowledge gleaned in life.

JL – I need to also add Tim Ferriss to that list now as well. I’m a sucker for inspiration from people who have walked the walk. Glad to hear you are also a fan.
